Amanda Cruse – Client Care Manager
Amanda graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). She spent 14 years working in the Emergency Department where she gained a broad base of experience in assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions. Amanda’s nursing experience, coupled with her caring heart and glowing personality, have prepared her well for her role as Client Care Manager at Home Care Assistance. Aside from her role as Client Care Manager, Amanda enjoys exploring new parts of the Des Moines area with her family and meeting new friends.
Chris Cruse – Co-Owner and Director of Client Services
Chris graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE). He spent 13 years working in quality management and construction management in the highway and bridge construction industry prior to opening Home Care Assistance of Des Moines. Chris experienced how several of his family members went through difficulties as they navigated the aging process. They didn’t want to move into a facility, but didn’t know that aging in place at home with assistance was an option. Chris was intrigued when he learned about Home Care Assistance, and their mission to change the way the world ages by providing holistic care that seeks to improve quality of life, and decided to join that mission. Chris is and avid outdoorsman and enjoys biking, camping, and float trips with his family, as well as bow-hunting and fishing.
Kristina Hamilton – Employee Care Manager
Kristina has ten years experience in the Direct Support industry as both a caregiver and a manager. She has helped countless persons with disabilities live their lives to the fullest and attain their personal goals. Her limitless loving, gentle, and caring personality prepares her to find, and train, the best caregivers in the industry. Kristina has been intimately involved in the disability community serving on community boards, and advocacy events. She understands the importance of both the clients’ and their families’ comfort when choosing a care provider. In her free time, she enjoys taking her therapy dog to visit people in local facilities, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and gardening.
