Amanda Cruse – Client Care Manager
Amanda graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). She spent 14 years working in the Emergency Department where she gained a broad base of experience in assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions. Amanda’s nursing experience, coupled with her caring heart and glowing personality, have prepared her well for her role as Client Care Manager at Des Moines Home Care Assistance. Aside from her role as Client Care Manager, Amanda enjoys exploring new parts of the Des Moines area with her family and meeting new friends.
Chris Cruse – Co-Owner and Director of Client Services
Chris graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE). He spent 13 years working in quality management and construction management in the highway and bridge construction industry prior to opening Des Moines Home Care Assistance of Des Moines. Chris experienced how several of his family members went through difficulties as they navigated the aging process. They didn’t want to move into a facility, but didn’t know that aging in place at home with assistance was an option. Chris was intrigued when he learned about Home Care Assistance, and their mission to change the way the world ages by providing holistic care that seeks to improve quality of life, and decided to join that mission. Chris is and avid outdoorsman and enjoys biking, camping, and float trips with his family, as well as bow-hunting and fishing.
Caitlin Ryan – Client Care Manager
Caitlin Ryan joins Home Care Assistance as the Client Care Manager for the Des Moines Metro area. With over 5 years of experience in Marketing, Admissions, Case Management, and Business Development, Caitlin will be a welcomed addition in serving the clients of Home Care Assistance.
Prior to joining Home Care Assistance, Caitlin was the Director of Marketing and Case Management in the long-term and skilled rehabilitation industry. Caitlin specializes in geriatric care and understands the different levels and qualifications associated with each level of care. Her knowledge allows for transitions from hospitals and facilities to be as smooth as possible to avoid unnecessary stress and offer peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones.
Caitlin received her bachelor’s at Illinois State University and is currently in the process of obtaining her Master of Healthcare Administration through Purdue University. Her passion for improving the quality of life for seniors led Caitlin to become the first President of the Des Moines Aging Consortium. This monthly educational meeting raises awareness about the obstacles, changes and innovations associated with senior care in the Des Moines area. Caitlin has an eagerness to learn and redefine the meaning of senior care.
